I live in a really nice neighborhood called Averill Woods on the southside of Lansing, MI.
It’s facing many challenges, some specific to being located in Michigan and others from residents who lived their day-to-day life without getting informed and involved in how our city is governed.
This blog is a start at helping fill that information gaps that exist from a local news media with lazy coverage of local affairs and from local officials not schooled in how to communicate with a changing culture.
